I'm taking the SAT Biology subject test in May. The only problem is that I have not taken a Biology course in nearly two years!! I have the prep book by Barron's (which is really good) but there's just sooo much information that I tend to forget. I'm freaking out because I know nothing and the test is like 2 months away. What should I do? How should I learn everything in 2 months so that I will be fully prepared? I really want a good score!!

Take all the practice exams in there, including the ones that are after each section. Bio has a lot of memorization. I think that cramming actually does work for bio. I crammed for three nights straight and got a 770, even though it had been a year since I had opened a bio textbook. Therefore, I think 2 months is more than enough time for you to learn the book with all its intricacies. Just use whatever helps you learn for other courses; some like flashcards, others like to just read and highlight the important stuff. If you can get high in the 600’s/low in the 700’s on a practice test in Barron’s, you will basically get a very high score in the actual one. Personally, I got a 680 on Barron’s, and then I got 770 on actual.

Thanks for the advice!
