Apparently, majoring in Natural sciences is much easier than putting major as Biology to get admitted to the great UT-Austin, so I am thinking of applying next year to that major since i am outside auto admit range. Do yall know how much easier nat. sciences is to be admitted than bio. and if the first year courses are similar to bio so that after transferring to bio.(supposing my GPA is good enough) how much make up courses ill have to take?
THANKS YALL!

Hmm. I don’t think there is a Natural Sciences major at UT. or is it the Uteach-Natural Science you are referring to ?

The school’s name is natural sciences, however there are other majors within the school aside from Biology, such as Computer Science, Nutrition, and so on. Here is a list of all the majors within all the colleges at UT:

EDIT: Some majors are more competitive than others, for example Computer Sciences is extremely competitive while another major might be easier to get accepted to. I’m sorry but I do not know how competitive Biology is. You can put it as your first choice, and put a less competitive major/school for your second choice as your application though.

Perhaps the OP is referring to an undeclared Natural Sciences major. I know it is possible to have an undeclared Liberal Arts major.
