biomed colleges

hi,
i have an interest in pursuing the biomed engineering field but i kinda have bad h.s. stats
3.42 gpa (not on 4.6) 195/522 (top 37%?)- i know...kinda bad
1980 SAT
exchange program to Japan
JSA for 3 years ( Junior year- director of debate)
Asian Club 1 year
ASHA(charity-1 year)
Film CLub (1 year)
Latin Award, over 100 hours in the hospital
still a junior

do i have a shot at Rutgers Biomed. or colleges equivalent to Rutgers. are there any colleges w/biomed programs i can get into (NJIT, etc.)

any info is appreciated,
streetsillz

so...does anyone have any suggestions

Florida International University.
Purdue University.
North Carolina State Univeristy.
Rutgers, State University of New Jersey

there are others, but those are easy to get into.

are they(Rutgers, Florida, NC STate, Purdue) easy to get into w/ a 3.42 on a 4.6 scale and a 1980 on the SAT

hi...its me again- i realized even though biomed. appeals to me, i am reading other threads and they are telling me that biomed. majors have the worst time to get into a job. is this true?

Does it matter if your preferred major has a hard time to get a job?
I don't think so.

JHU has the No. 1 Biomedical Engineering program in the country. I suggest you try applying.

JHU is gonna be a reach for you though, sorry bud, still try though
good luck =)
remember ur only a junior you have lots of time bring up ur SAT, try to break 2150 (u could def raise yours by 100 pts) then you have a better shot at schools like JHU (even though ur rank and gpa are still on the low side)

thanks for the help
