Biomed Engineering Major... Double major or minor?

Hi, I'm interested in attending Stonybrook as a Biomedical Engineering major, but I also have an interest in business. Does anyone know if you can do the Fast Track MBA if you're in the Honors or WISE programs? Also, can you minor or double minor if you get accepted to either of these programs?

*Is it even possible to double minor at SB?

Any help is appreciated.

Not sure about the specific technicalities of doing WISE/Honors College and an accelerated MBA (I expect it would be allowed; I know Honors College students who have done or are doing other combined masters programs), but logistically I don't think it's remotely possible to do Biomedical Engineering and anything else. It's hard enough to finish just the BME requirements in 4 years, let alone fit grad coursework for an accelerated program into your senior year. BME leaves you room for required major courses and DECs, and that's it. My friends in that program tell me technically you could take one elective your senior year, but everyone uses those credits for research. It's not the major for you if you want to dabble in other things or explore another discipline. Theoretically I suppose you could fit a minor or maybe squeeze in the MBA stuff if you overloaded some semesters and took classes during summer and winter sessions, but it would still be a stretch and you'd likely be miserable, not to mention put your GPA at risk.

You can definitely do a minor in WISE and Honors College. Double minor... I suspect you can, but more importantly, why would you? Most minors aren't particularly useful credentials, certainly not more useful in most cases than having taken a similar number of courses in a subject without filling minor requirements.
