So I was accepted BME but was also considering double majoring in business. Can someone tell me more about the possibility of doing this? Also how are the resources at Hopkins in terms of business? I know its not really known for it...

JHU doesn’t have a business major…it has an entrepreneurship and management minor and many business related courses…but no business major or business department.

Check this out:

ohh ok thats still fine, thanks for the info

Hopkins isnt known for business…at l east not yet. The goal is to get into the top 20 MBA programs relatively quickly, so I hear. I believe the Carey business school is only 2-3 years old but it has an ugrad program (a BS in something, cannot recall).

Here is the website: [Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Home](http://carey.jhu.edu/index.html)

The Carey school does have a business BS program, but it’s not a full-time, four year undergraduate program (you have to transfer at least 60 credits from another university to get into the program). The Carey School has just started a short summer program for undergrads ([Johns Hopkins Carey Business School ABACUS program](http://carey.jhu.edu/our_programs/abacus/)), and many Hopkins students are involved in the Entrepreneurship & Management minor that BengieBean mentioned

Well, I just got into Carey as an undergrad transfer, and I was told that I would be a full-time student, if that’s what you were talking about.
