Biomedical Engineering UWM vs. Boston U.

Hello everyone!

I am going to major Biomedical Engineering but I couldn't choose the university btw U. of Wisconsin-Madison and Boston University. I got an offer from both places. Now I have to make a decision =(

Overall ranking, UWM is higher than Boston U.
While, Biomedical engineering at Boston is higher than UWM

Even though i am going to major Biomedical Engineering, I am still not 100% sure -- i.e. i might change my mind after first year.

Therefore, i would like some opinions which university should i choose.

Thank you. =)

Biomedical Engineering at BU is exceptional!!! Congrats on the acceptance to these schools.
I think that academically wise you shouldn’t worry, either way - you are safe.

I think that you should consider demographics. Where are you going look for a job after you graduate? If you decide to stay in Boston definitely go with BU, like that…
Also, consider the prices, did you get scholarships or aid?
Boston can be a very expensive city, so you have to take that into account too.

I don’t know too much about UWM so I can’t really direct my response into which one of these schools I’d go to.
As I don’t know about UWM, you should research the kinds of jobs people get after graduating, and also the graduation rate I consider it to be an important factor.

I hope you end up where ever you re happiest at ;)

University of Wisconsin - Madison is a top notch engineering school…why wouldn’t you go there?? BU can’t even compare…
