Biomedical Engineering vs. Bioengineering

i’m a future bioengineering major at UCSD. however, i’m hoping to change my major to one that’s more tailored for medical school. i heard that there’s also a biomedical engineering major that is more medical based and not engineering. can anyone give more info. bout the difference in these two majors? thanks!
