Biomedical engineering?

<p>So I am really considering trying to go into biomedical engineering, but I'm not sure. I have a 4.0.. (about a 94 nonweighted/ 99 weighted) I'm in the top 5/6 percent of my class. I got a 2180 on the sat (760 math/ 670 cr/ 750 wr) uil science team.. But i don't have too many ec's besides my job and Nhs and YR.. would I even be able to get into a good bme program like UT-Austin's, Rice's, other schools like that?</p>
