Biomedical Engineering?

If I’m majoring in biomedical/bioengineering, would it be beneficial and/or practical to include another, more traditional field of engineering as a second major? If so, which one? Thanks.

Nah. Doing one engineering major is already enough work. Also, in your career, chances are you are only going to be making use of one degree. There is little to no return for paying extra tuition to take extra semesters. If you want to work as an engineer, I would suggest you switch totally to a more traditional field, then do your master’s in BME.

If you are pre-health, on the other hand, then it makes more sense for you to stick with BME as an undergrad.
