Biomedical Science Major

My son is planning to apply for Biomedical Science major (Ohio State University) as he is interested in research and wanted go for Med school. Looking for helpful views/tips and experiences of other people. His stats are very good and done research in muscle lab.

I am not in the program but when I took the tour I spoke to a student in the program. He told me there are about 30 students in the program each year and they take the exact same course together. Since your son is pre Med, they take chem and bio freshman year and ochem with physics sophomore year. He said it is very research oriented but you have a lot of help with Med school admissions and mcat studying.

Thanks for the information. My son has submitted his application and will be waiting till January. He wants to go to Med school but researching both the major at OSU - Biomedical Vs Neuroscience. Can anyone in the same situation in the past share their views ?
