BioNanoTechnology

I've graduated from med school(which i think was a mistake),
and wanna crossover to biomedical engineering.

My GRE score is 1500 (Verbal - 700, Quant - 800)
I have a special interest in bionanotechnology.

I like the program at purdue, cornell, uiuc, clemsons and cincinnati.
all of these have bionanotech as a special area of interest.

which of these is the best and the worst?

Are there other colleges offering BME Phd with special bionanotech department or faculty?

Look at the literature in your field for answers. Are you interested in nanotechnology - [Home : Nature Nanotechnology](Nature Nanotechnology) or [ACS Publications - Cookie absent](http://pubs.acs.org/journal/nalefd) are both great journals. Look at the labs that produce the articles you find most interesting. Can you envision yourself doing that work? Contact the authors of the papers to introduce yourself and ask questions.

Looks like an exciting place to attend grad school…

[Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery - Overview Home](<a href=“Discovery Building | Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation”>Discovery Building | Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation)

thank you belevitt, those journals were very helpful.

You also should post this question in the grad school forum. Click on “Discussion Home” in the upper-left of this screen and scroll down to find it. There should be some bio-tech. folks there who can give you more ideas.
