Biophys and int. relations?

In my “why UPenn” essay, I wrote that I wanted to major in biophysics and take classes in international relations, such as management and business in global policy environment. I explained that science, to me, is just as much about communicating with other people (sharing ideas in a forum) as it is hard-facts and research. Does this sound, erm… interesting? I’m running out of ideas and the deadline is looming. Please share with us what you focused on in your essay if you were previously accepted or your inputs on my essay idea. Thanks!

PS - My interest is, however, still more-or-less undecided. I might switch to a completely different major like chemical engineering. Do the courses that I write about in my essay affect my course options next year (if I get accepted)?

Every freshman at the college is accepted as undecided, no matter what they write on their intended major.

I think it sounds like an interesting essay. It says more about you and why you would fit Penn (Where there are infinite opportunities to combine your own program of studies, even between the different undergraduate schools) than most essays around.
