I am looking into the biostatistics and math majors at UNC-CH. I am aware that the biostat degree is pretty competitive, with a handful of spots that are available. I have also heard that it is very hard to maintain a good gpa with a biostat major, is that true?
While I have heard a lot about biostat, I have heard almost nothing about UNC-CH’s math department. What is that like? Would it be better to go to NCSU for math and premed or UNC-CH for math and premed or UNC-CH for biostat and premed?
