Birkenstock-Wearing, Tree-Hugging, Clove-Smoking Vegetarians: Princeton Review List

Birkenstock-Wearing, Tree-Hugging, Clove-Smoking Vegetarians: Princeton Review List

How did Hampshire get left off of this list??

Agree I would have thought Hampshire before Sarah Lawrence. Most of the list has been “that way” for thirty five years except would have included Antioch instead of New School. Nice to see sometimes nothing changes LOL.

They got the Beloit part right. My daughter’s there and she’s such a hippie. :)

momofthree-
Now that Antioch is back on its feet again maybe it will earn a spot back on the list! :)

Mary, how does your daughter like it? I may go there…not sure. How would you describe a “hippie?”

I would say I’m more mainstream…maybe. I was that kid in high school who worried about everything and teachers picked on her.

I may be voted the class “worst driver” and “most gullible,” if you can get a sense of my personality. :)

"How did Hampshire get left off of this list?? "

Really! They were #2 in this category last year.

Worse (or better, depending on your outlook), Hampshire also fell off the “Reefer Madness” list!

What is going on at Hampshire?!

I love these polls. Some of them are hilarious. It would be nice to know what they use for criteria for their selections though.

Everyone at Evergreen now wears Brooks Brothers and chinos.

How is the Residential College (RC) at the University of Michigan not a the very top of this list (and the “most marijuana friendly”)? Someone’s not doing their research very well.

The only one we saw out of this list was Oberlin - we liked the school, but I told S he wasn’t “green” enough to go there. He’s not into saving the world so he would have been totally out of place. The albino squirrels were cool though.

Those rankings are based on student reports, so there could have been a concerted effort to tone down the responses. Maybe students were starting to worry about what employers might think when they saw a reefer madness school on the resume.
