Birthday Cake Delivery?

We have a first year and would like to surprise him with a cake delivery. Any ideas on who might do this? We know the dining service will make a cake, but they don't deliver.

I’ve never used them, but I believe Campus Cookies delivers. I think they have cookie cakes?

We sent our daughter a couple of dozen cupcakes for her and her friends to enjoy (congrats for her med school acceptances). We live OOS and used Sweet Haus. I believe they deliver cakes too. The cupcakes were decorated with stethoscopes, red crosses, thermometers, etc., and I was able to order a variety of flavors. They were able to spell out “Dr. (JC40’s D)” and display it in the container. She said they were tasty. Here’s the website:

We also had a great experience with Sweethaus delivering cupcakes to first-year dorm. Online they offer a 2-hour delivery window, but with a cell phone number (of a hallmate if you want a surprise) they were able to coordinate a specific delivery time. Red velvet was the favorite of the variety we sent.

Hi! I am Tara, the owner of sweethaus cupcake shop  When I was a student at UVA ('99), my parents were always looking for local treats to send, but ended up going the catalog route because there weren’t any options. We’ve added candy, chocolate, push pops and a couple other things which you can order directly from our site. Also, you can always call in and place any custom order, including cakes! I’m so happy to read the above comments from other parents, we deliver tons of birthday treats, care packages and celebratory sweets every week  Please check out www.sweethaus.com or you can email orders@sweethaus.com with questions or call 434.422.2677. We are open 7 days a week!
