Bit of a dilemma

If you had to choose between two really good friends how would you go about it?

Both I care for but in different ways, one being a girl who thinks just like me and the other just a guy to spend time and relax with. I was really close to both but the guy and the girl had some issues which I don't know about and are not friends anymore. They both want me to maintain friendships with both of them but at this point I just can't hang out with one without getting the other to feel bad or left out.

And believe me, i've tried talking and fixing things and mediating. Atleast I got the summer ahead of me but this sort of puts a damper on it as I spent a lot of time with both of them during the school year. Ant ideas? I really don't want to leave one behind but it's sort of come down to this after months.

Oh wow. This is just like a situation I’m in except all the friends involved are guys. I’ll probably end up sticking with whoever’s the least annoying.

I’m surprised that neither of them said that despite the fact they hate the other, they don’t mind that YOU are friends with them. I mean, it isn’t their decision who you’re friends with.

Anyways. To follow social norms, if you’re a girl, I say go with the girl and try to maintain your friendship with the guy, but focus more on the girl. If you’re a boy, then do the exact opposite.

Ah thanks guys. Truth be told I think i’m just gonna go under the radar for a while and see how it plays out. At the moment i’m not choosing to see either of them.

thats good, make them both realize that theyre both losing a good friend.
