Today i had my Harvard interview and it was quite strange. I have had two others( Georgetown and Yale) and this one was so much more uncomfortable and formulaic than the others. They interviewed all of the kids at my school applying to Harvard one by one. It wasnt a conversation like the others were, it was just question after question about my qualifications. Are most Harvard interviews at the applicants school? I don't know, it was just.........weird.

Nope, I think this depends entirely on your interviewer. You got a more qualifications-based person rather than a friendly, let's chit-chat interviewer.

Just hope that you wowed them.

Yeah I had mine yesterday and I didn't feel at ease during the entire interview. I felt like it was formulaic rather than a conversation, and it made me uncomfortable. I think I did okay, but def. not what I was expecting from what I've heard on CC. :(

haha thanks Arch3r25. Im not sure I wowed them though, im pretty sure they've heard it all.

My interview was very... conversational and friendly and lasted almost 2 hours... I guess it really just depends on your interviewer.
Either way, I don't think the interview holds a lot of weight compared to other components of your application, and since Harvard rejects so many amazing people, I really wouldn't worry about it too much.

Yeah - had my interview today, and was very conversational - we both laughed a lot and it was really relaxed and friendly. Depends on your interviewer I think -- My Gtown/Brown interviews sound similar to yours

again i wouldn't worry too much about it
