Bizarre/Unique Combinations?

Anyone here have an uncommon or unusual combination of interests or activities?

I run cross country and sing in my school's chamber choir, and I like to think I'm quite good at both. I'm the only student in a school of 3300+ to have this combination.

That’s not that bizarre, it’s pretty easy to envision a cross country runner in the choir (two such people exist in my school). If you were a football/soccer/lacrosse/basketball player, that would be pretty bizarre.

Football, chess, journalism, piano, astronomy

^
that would be pretty hard considering the seasons would clash

^ It’s like a “one of these is not like the others” question.

yeah, like i know a lot of football/lacrosse, football/basketball, soccer/lacrosse types, but not all 4.

^ Oh you misinterpreted. I meant that OP’s combination would be much more bizarre if it were Men’s Choir combined with a sport like football/soccer/lacrosse/basketball.

We have two football players in the choir, as far as I’m concerned. Truly, it’s uncommon for boys in any sport at all to also be in choir.

I play basketball and I’m on the small engine team. Hahaha I don’t really like it but I’m in the class and I’m pretty good at it. I do ballet too but it’s not school organized

None of these combinations are unique.

Unless the person above who plays basketball and ballet is a guy.

As far as common stereotypes go (which often hold a degree a truth), a cross country runner is far more likely to be in the choir than a football, soccer, basketball or lacrosse player.

I’m in all the nerdy clubs like the Mathletes, NHS, and Science Olympiad, but I’m also on the field hockey and lacrosse teams.

^

Typical.

^^ You’re also a mother****ing ninja.

Double major in Physics and Religious Studies.

Is that unique?

^^^^

I hereby grant you uniqueness.

The VP of our sciteam is also a football player (and trackie). Actually, a good percentage of our sciteam is either made up of trackies or ultimate frisbee guys.

I also have a friend who does theatre and ice hockey… which is kind of unusual.

I’m not entirely sure where you’re getting these “common stereotypes”, or how you could possibly measure the likelihood of someone being in choir based upon the sport they play. I’m assuming there must be some geographic disparity between us and our perception of “common” stereotypes.

Well that’s just a damn shame. I was trying so hard to impress you.

We’ve had several football players come through the drama department

I do Alpine Skiing, Band, Theatre Crew (Much different from acting). My sterotypes combined would confused people. Laid back person+NERD+BIGGER NERD and like redneck.

If you were a football playing cheerleader who played in the band.
