BizEcon+Another major?

I'm planning on doing the honors program (whether or not ill stay in is a diff story). But i was wondering what would be a good second major to double major in that won't be too hard (not as many units) and might prove to be beneficial when applying for internships/jobs as well as later on for an MBA.

Currently i'm looking at Psychology, Computer Science, or Communications.
Also, wondering if adding in a minor in accounting would be too difficult. In the future, I would very much like to do some sort of managerial consulting or something of that sort. (including going for an MBA later)

So really, my question is which of the three is most feasible while still attempting to maintain honors standing. And if the accounting minor is easy to get at the same time.

bizecon will keep you very busy. i would NOT recommend bizecon+communications or +CS. To be honest, don't just get a double major if you want to pad your resume because it's not really necessary. only do it if you are seriously interested in the additional major.

From what I've heard, bizecon with accounting minor is just an extra few (2-3) courses, because a lot of them will overlap. Otherwise, I'm echoing everything that the last poster said.

a lot are bizecon with accounting minor for the reason evelyn_rose posted.

my friend is biz-econ w/ accounting minor and shes on track to graduate in 3 years.

but definitely dont overload yourself. its pre-bizecon. which means you have to apply to the biz econ major after completing prereqs...and you need at least a 3.5 gpa to even be considered.

Isn't it 3.3 for UCLA students and 3.5 (some other restrictions here apply) for transfer students?

im not sure. i just remember hearing 3.5 from my friend.

Hmmm... i was looking at the course requirements and while the pre-major requirements for psychology are only about 5 extra courses with the double major+minor (spread out over two years and with my AP/IB credits), once accepted into the major its another 13 or so. Is 28 courses over the last two years even a possible thing to do? If i manage to remain in the honors program its gonna be even more difficult D:

And exactly when can i start taking the regular major courses? Can i speed through the prerequisite courses and apply for the majors earlier than the end of my sophomore year?

What do most people who double major with bizecon take for their second major? I know of this one girl who's taking communications with a minor in accounting but don't really know about any other major choices people double major in.
Perhaps i should, instead of the Psych major, have a second minor in cognitive sci or stats?

Thanks everyone.

The admission threshold is approximately 3.3 for UCLA students(prereqs are overweighted).
Also, my understanding is that anyone who has a "primary score" above 3.3 will be admitted.

Is 28 courses over the last two years even a possible thing to do?

^Yes, but you'll have to take 4 classes during fall, winter, and spring, then do summer school.
