<p>Hey, does anyone know the what the job/graduate school prospects are with this major at sb? i really want to go here, but my parents and friends really want me to go to ucsd for management science.</p>
<p>Are you interested of becoming an Accountant? You can major in Business Economics with emphasis in Accounting. The Big 4 accting firms are very active in recruiting students here at UCSB. So far all my friends who will be graduating next month were offered full time positions in Dec. of lastyear. You still take the same requirements as bus. econ. but you ahve to take 6 more classes of accting....not bd at all. Even if you decide not to work as an accountant the emphasis would boost your resume.</p>
<p>I got admitted to UCSD lastyear for management too but I don't like UCSD so I picked UCSB coz of the major, college life, and beautiful campus.</p>
