<p>I just spent the past 4 hours, yes 4 hours in CompUSA.
2 of those hours were spent waiting outside on a gigantic line that wraped around the building. On the line they made us fill out a voucher to guarentee we waited so long online for. They told us to hand it in and once the store opend, we would hear our name on the loudspeaker and we could claim our item at customer service. Well after waiting an hour for them to call our name we got fed up and asked a sales associate what to do. He said to go stand on a checkout line and the cashier will get us our merchandise. This is where it gets better, we spent about an hour on the line just to get to the cashier and to realize we ahve never had service as bad as at that moment. The woman was taking her time searching around for god knows what. She had no clue what she was doing and when she would go to search for our voucher, she helped other people with their problems instead of keeping to her original task. Yeah..I am now extremely sick of CompUSA and I think I will never go back there on Thanksgiving or Black Friday ever again because they were so unorganized. </p>
<p>I guess this is not yet for today but I would love to pass time by hearing your black friday stories tomorrow!</p>
<p>Last year my mom and I decided to wake up at 3 AM to go to an electronics store to get this dirt-cheap laptop. She nearly fell asleep at the wheel and almost drove into a barrier on the freeway. So... I'm driving myself next time.</p>
<p>All I got was a backpack, a notebook cooler which I doubt I will ever use but it was only $10, and a gps. The gps was the item we were waiting for though. </p>
<p>And yeah, I might be biased because that was my first black friday experience.</p>
<p>haha i suppose....some stuff was for me but the notebook cooler is essentially for my mom because she keeps yelling at me to get one and this makes her happy and the gps is for my dad cause he gets lost all the time.</p>

my mom and i almost got mauled over when the store announced 70% on everything a couple of years back
man it was psychotic all these women running around it was like a mega-catfight for stupid things

<p>I was too whimpy to leave my dorm 5 in the morning (downtown LA walking all by myself? bad idea... all my guy friends went hoommee...losers) but i did go crazy online! haha</p>
<p>I got 20 dollar maxtor 200 gb harddrive and a wireless keyboard/mouse duo for 20 dollars as well... I was tempted to buy mroe stuff but i ordered so much crap from days before I decided against it (i really wanted an LCD monitor though, too late i guess)</p>
