<p>I'm actually thinking about waking up @ 5:30 so I can go shopping.. for electronics. </p>
<p>Anybody else crazy enough to get up really early and go shopping?</p>
<p>PS DOes anybody know when staples open? My local staples is suppose to open @ 7, but black friday site states it opens at 6:00.. i don't wanna wait for an hour doing nothing when i can be in my bed asleep.</p>
<p>I got up at 3:45am today to go to Best Buy to get a monitor. Worked out well! I went in, went right to the monitor, went right to checkout, left.</p>
<p>And about waiting for an hour..I was at bestbuy 45 minutes early..and there were over 400 people ahead of me. It was on the news.</p>
<p>lol good job! i know BB's suppose to be the craziest place along with walmart/target/circuit city. I wouldnt even go near it because people get somewhat violent and pushy....</p>
<p>I was going to go but then i changed my mind because I had to walk to my car 2 blocks away in the dark by myself in downtown LA. seemed like a really bad idea. ... so I just went crazy online. XP (200 dollars in the last hour) sort of regretting it... sigh.</p>

<p>I'm using it right now! It's a 19" Panasonic LCD widescreen. They had 22" ones for 200$, but I really don't wanna spend extra 70 dollars for a few extra inches :). Rather use that money for food! I replaced an OLD 15" CRT monitor. Well worth the 130!!</p>
<p>i went to a circuit city today around nine just to see if they by chance had a gps system left and my gosh it was a madhouse. people were ravaging through dvd bins of 2.99 movies.. they were flying out of the bins and employees were standing there putting them back in, just to be greeted by more ravaging.. it was crazy.</p>
<p>also, i went to staples at opening and had a negative experience and now they're on my list of stores not to shop from anymore. :) they gave me a voucher for something and then i had to get in the voucher pickup line so i could get it and 45 minutes later when i get to the front of the line they say they are out of them and must have accidently miscounted their vouchers. I was pretty mad.. they completely wasted my morning.</p>
<p>Last night I had heard on the tv that today is "national sleep-in day". I took that as an omen that I would sleep-in and waste the day away. Well, success...all I've done is watch football and basketball (more basketball than football...go Heels!). I have the rest of the weekend to catch up on my school work.</p>
<p>AHHH!! they sold out of 32'' lcd tv's. :(</p>
<p>I went today. Got 4 SD memory cards from Circuit City (1gb each, $2.99 each).</p>
<p>I also got cologne (half price Burberry), Coffee Maker, Sandisk 1gb Flash drives, a few DVD's, and a game.</p>
<p>Crazy as hell in the morning. but got it done.</p>
<p>^ lucckyyy... I was thinking about getting some flash drives but decided i didn't really need it. Black friday's really bad for buying stuff on whim;;;</p>
<p>Panasonic 19" cost 130 dollars?? Serious? Gah jealous! I wanted to get Samsung LCD 19" from Staples but according to my friend they only had like 4. ***. I guess I'll stick with my 17" CRT a little bit longer... (its so huge though annoying)</p>
<p>Laser Printer $50 at Office Depot.</p>
<p>I got a DVD external burner for 40 bucks and a 250GB external hard drive for 50 from Office Depot...not bad, considering I didn't have to wait at all. I wanted a new laptop, but I was able to resist the temptation. :D</p>
<p>I camped out with a friend from 7 PM the day before at Bestbuy. I ended up getting the $250 Toshiba laptop, the $200 Westinghouse 22" monitor, and the $130 Samsung 19" monitor. :) It was pretty crazy, people were getting serious (mostly us) about people cutting in the front. People were saving spots for friends and **** it was really gay. I ended up being #25 instead of #17. Was pretty fun though, met some cool people with my friend :) It was funny too because hundreds of people showed up later and we all knew they wouldn't get anything good haha.</p>
<p>I had originally planned to go to Walmart around 11am, so door prizes would still be happening, but after staying up to 4am doing a bib lit project, I decided against it. And then I saw the news that afternoon, and the stores and everything just looked crazy, with like stampedes of people. So I went to Walmart and Target around 5, and the crowds were mostly gone. All I needed was food and x-mas decorations anyway. I don't have the money for special stuff, but I did get a cute little tree for $10 and about $15 worth of decorations... :)</p>
<p>To me, Black Friday was International Buy Nothing Day...</p>
<p>I woke up at 3 in the morning for a laptop for $300 (50% off)...</p>
<p>And I didn't get it. They ran out of the tickets for the item...</p>
<p>But then I just went to the rest of the mall and got a lot of other good buys.... Mmm 5 for $10 underwear...</p>
<p>I got to EB Games at 6:45 to pick up a 360. I really didn't need to get there that early. There were about 20 people in front of me waiting for the Wii, and the store only got 5.</p>
<p>I went to best buy and target on friday morning around 9 am and bought a bunch of cds, dvds, and an ipod alarm clock. but otherwise i didnt see much else worth waking up really early for, so i slept in a little. :)</p>
<p>Heh, I couldn't go shopping that early because I had to work at that time! The lines wrapped around the store TWICE!!! It was insane. Actually, I had fun though; it was nice getting into the spirit!</p>
