^Not all blacks have black hair, some do have brown and very rarely have red hair. Many Latinos have a variety of hair colors. I think the statistic may have just been a small sample and not the whole US.

^^I am fairly certain that the majority of black women have brown hair.

And then there are always those weirdo black gingers, who make up half of my family. So many freckles.

I really wonder where people draw the line between black and brown. My dad says he has brown hair, but it looks jet black to the rest of us. Meh.

Also- I love red hair. I wish more than 5% of people had it lol. My boy is a ging- the irony is that he’s colorblind and can’t see red o.O

@Mill- I’ve honestly never seen a black ginger. Weird.

Weee I have the most uninteresting, common hair type. =/

Hahaha. Are the people bashing AA hair black or …no?
Anyways, I belong to weirdo AA ginger families. Only hand full of us aren’t redheads or blonds. My bro even has red arm hair lmao. My family is more creole/mixed but everyone pretty much considers themselves AA. I have AA hair even though it red-brown & wavy but I my hair is pretty G…not even gonna lie xD

If you live in Florida and Louisiana, the creole blacks tend not to have black hair. And alot of black peoples hair isn’t even black its brown. The only people I know with jet black hair is the asian kids at my school and thats not even all of them.

^ yes, mill is “AA”.

Yeah my hair is Jewish hair so it takes a LOT to de-frizz and de-puff and de-voluminize it… I sometimes wish I had straight thin hair that doesn’t misbehave, but then again it is kinda boring. The grass is always greener, I guess… I remember at one dance in middle school EVERY SINGLE GIRL in my grade had changed her hair–everyone who had curly/wavy hair had straightened it, and everyone who had straight hair had curled it. Except me–cuz I’m proud of my hair. Yee.

I’ve actually met very few people with BLACK hair. Most asians, latinos, and AAs have brown hair.

My hair’s like a dark brown…with a hint of copper flecks. But at my roots they’re darker/black. I’m not sure if it’s because it got bleached from being in the sun or because from the relaxer or if it’s natural. But it just looks like i have natural highlights in my hair i guess? I’ve thought about dying it a soft black or a honey blonde (just like beyonce! :)) but i’m afraid if i dyed it honey blonde it would ruin my hair + i’d look tacky with it :/

Naturally blonde hair reporting in. Yesssss. I dye it light brown though ahaha.

But oh god, those girls who dye their hair blonde. The rich ones tend to have two different colors: summer blonde and winter blonde. And when they dye it to the different blonde during the switching seasons it’s always kind of creepy and disconcerting. Watching 300 girls suddenly change their hair color at once… It’s like watching something from the Discovery Channel. A rabbit changing its coat or something… smh.

THAT SAID would definitely give up blonde hair any day for nice black hair. Being latina with blonde hair pretty much sucks. Love black hair so much. Both the typical hair of black people and just black colored hair.

My Chinese mother, grandma, and several grand-aunts, have brown hair. (I myself have chestnut brown hair, though that may or may not be because my father is white.) Not all Asians have black hair.

I have natural platinum blonde hair, although it is slowly becoming more of a light golden blonde as I get older. My cousins have jet black hair. Our family photo albums are interesting.
