<p>Natl Achievement Semifinalist...projected finalist...i didnt get natl merit because I took the test high on oxycontin in a wheelchair 4 days after major surgery</p>

<p>Varsity Football until career-ending knee injury last year (required major surgery, I tore 3 ligaments + hamstring + broke fibula + tore peroneal nerve, it was 5 months until I could walk without crutches, and I can still barely jog)</p>

<p>Varsity Track until same injury</p>

<p>Over 1500 hours of community service</p>

<p>I work as an intern at Washington Mutual Bank, have done so since spring of 2003</p>

<p>I was selected for the LEAD Summer Business Institute at University of Pennsylvania this last summer</p>

<p>Im looking to study international relations and economics, and hopefully somehow tie in latin american studies and african studies...emerging markets sounds cool w00t... Im also very interested in the middle east, and I want to learn Arabic in college, on top of the Spanish I already speak. </p>

<p>You clearly love compliments. You've posted this in possibly, every forum, and you've got amazing responses. Just work with that. </p>

<p>Nobody is going to say, you don't have a chance at these schools. In fact your SAT scores along place u in the 75 percentile. So... you just want an ego boost... I just hope that the students at Yale are less egocentric than you are.</p>

<p>whoa all those 4s on the APs... I dunno man... you know how Yale frowns upon those 4s... I think you have a decent shot at lower ivies and other top 25 schools, but HYPS is definitely practically a no-admit.</p>

<p>I'm sorry to be so harsh but that's the truth. And being an ORM doesn't help either. Tons of black kids have 1550+ SAT scores so that certainly won't stand out. Well no chance of admission unless you apply eh? Good luck</p>
