The best schools I'm reaching for are Maryland College Park & NYU. But what other good schools do you think I should apply to?
Im black and live in Maryland and go to a very competitive public highschool.

That's all the stuff I can think for now. I'm a junior currently so hopefully something else will come along for my transcript.

My grade trends improve each year and I'm an African-American (which might not help much, i really dont know) and I found out about my ADHD really not until 10 th grade year so I was wondering how are my chances at University of Maryland College Park & NYU?

The thing that stumbles me is NYU is hard to get into and on their website they say NYU receives applications from, "...many students with extraordinary academic records " yet 12% of their undergrads according to college board had a GPA of in between 3.0-3.24. But NYU says 70% of their students were in the top 10% of their graduating class and my high school is very competitive so I have no idea what my rank will be and I'm sure NYU is a popular school to others in my grade and many have excellent academic records which are WAY better than mine.

So I'm hoping someone can tell me my chances and if they're not good, what are some others schools I should be looking at with my current record.
