<p>How is the town of Blacksburg, VA? I heard mixed reports about campus life at Vtech, so feel free to share!</p>
<p>Blacksburg is a small town in the middle of the Blue Ridge mountains of VA. Like a village with shops, resturants, bars, most catering to college people. Very artsy, folksy feel to the town. I love the area.</p>
<p>If you go to Tech, then you will get that "college town" feel. The entire town is centered around the college students. The area is united by school spirit and everyone wears orange and marroon. I think it is very conducive to learning because you are placed in a close-knit community rather than a large, urban city. I think its easier to retain focus in a rural area.</p>
