blair

I'm just trying to plan ahead.. nothing makes me more uncomfortable than talking about money, even with the most laid-back family members. It's just so distasteful for me. But, hey, if he can pay, I think he would. He payed for many college tuitions.. even people he's not related to! So he would probably be okay with his granddaughte rasking for BS tuition help? I don't know. I hate money.

OMG I love you blairt!

You share a very common characteristic as myself!!!

I NEVER ask people for money, never have, never want to. I feel so guilty! I hate money!

Even if it's my mother or father, I hate to ask them even for money to go to the movies or something!

Many people at school ask for lunch money, yet I would never dare to ask anyone. It just feels weird.

If I were you, I would wait for the rest of your decisions...

You're bound to get into somewhere...

If the F.A. was less than your parent(s) expected, get a job. For Andover, I got zip FA. My parents are never going to be able to pay it. I want to go so bad I am going to give them all my money from working at my dance studio, and I also am going to work three jobs over the summer which should get me about 4g... My friend's mom owns a Dunkin Donuts that I am going to work at, I am going to be a 20hr a week babysitter each week, and weekend job at a local hospital. If you want it bad, find ways to make money. Rely on your grandfather last, but he may come in handy.

Hey! You're not asking him for some money to buy pot, it's to get a great education!

Good luck...

aww man, srry to hear u didnt get into SPS or choate. AHHH this is making me very nervous indeed- :( goodness, and ur stats were quite amazing to say the least.

shoot, if choate and SPS didnt accept blair, guess that jsut goes to show u how hard it is to get infor 11th. ugh, this is ridiculous, it really is. >.<

I'm sorry Blairt. Hopefully you'll get in somewhere...

You seem like the type of person that the school needs, but if there's only few, limited openings, I suppose they go for the very wealthy, URMS, legacies, recruited atheletes and such before you.

That's just too bad. =/

Good luck with Andover, I'm sure they'll accept you...

Depending on the school an application for financial aid make it harder for you to gain admission. I don't think any of the preps are "need blind"
