Blank next to teacher rec's "Submitted"

<p>My teacher emailed me at 10 pm today saying that the rec was done... However, on my CommonApp, it says that it was started but there is no date next to "submitted." I asked her to double check to make sure she really did submit it (still waiting for reply), but is it possible that she really did submit it and for some reason the system doesn't recognize that it was submitted? and if so, what do I do?</p>

<p>Hmmmm… It is possible that she clicked the “submit” button but the system didn’t recognize it due to a network error (or due to your teacher closing the browser window too soon or something. I would check it again tomorrow, then ask your teacher to try submitting again if it still doesn’t show a “submitted” date. And if it still doesn’t work for her, then I’d ask her to open a support ticket with the Common App support folks (from what I’ve heard, they’re very responsive and helpful). <p>And don’t worry – your application won’t be chucked out if this doesn’t get taken care of tonight. It’s ok if your teacher’s recommendation is submitted a few days after the deadline.</p>
