So I found out that my school isn't like most schools because our are semester long (except for Higher Level IB courses, which are the only year long courses), but the A-G requirements say "years" in the number of classes completed. Would to school reject me beacuase I only have 4 semesters of a course in stead of 4 years? It's not my fault, it's block schedulings fault.

P.S.
Block scheduling is better because it prepares you for college, where classes only last the semester.

My school has block scheduling, too, and I'm pretty sure a semester-long block counts as a year-long class, because you spend the same amount of time in the class. You have 4 semesters, but since block scheduling periods are longer, it's all the same. You should be fine.

Agree with high hopes. A one semester block class is the same as a year long regular class. When you apply, you counselor will send a long a copy of the school profile that will let the schools know that you are on the block schedule.
