Block Scheduling -

I have block scheduling at my school
And i was wondering if anyone (who has block scheduling)
has doubled up with an ap course
Like taken precalc and calc ab the same year

I love block scheduling.

However, taking precal and calc in the same year wouldn't be advised at my school. APs are year long classes here. We have one of our AP blocks first semester (out of four) and then the same class the following semester (again out of four).

If your school does APs as only one semester, then I don't think that doubling up would be an issue. Unless your school doesn't allow you to take more than one math or english courses a year (for example, my school will not allow you to take more than one math or english course a year).

I have doubled up on maths (but they weren't AP). You might check for test date conflicts. (I didn't think there was an AP precalc?)

Our AP's are 1 semester.

I have block scheduling, and I had Algebra II and Pre-cal honors this year, but they were online.

I love the block schedule because we can only get, at most, four subjects for homework a night :). And also I have free third period which leaves me plenty of time to go sleep, work on hw, or do whatever else I want.

Our APs are also one semester but next year they are changing some of the classes to last year round. I think that's good because the downfall of block schedule is that you take an AP class in the fall, and then it's months before you take the test in the spring.

I am on block schedule. I doubled up on math sophomore year. AP Stats and AP Calc. block schedule makes it really nice to take multiple APs.

my school's changing into block next year, so i'll probably double up and take calc ab and bc. but i was wondering, for people who currently have 4X4 block scheduling that's nonrotating, how do lunches work?

My school has block scheduling. A lot of my friends doubled up on math this year, and they are doing fine. Some AP classes are one semester here (AP Bio and AP Gov), while others are either yearlong everyday (AP Studio Art and AP Calculus BC) or yearlong, every other day (APUSH and AP Calculus AB).

Whenever I think that I'll kill myself for all the crazy AP/honors classes next year, I always remind myself that at least I'll only have four AP/honors classes at a time and still will have taken 8 classes by the end of the year, versus some poor kids who have 6 or 7 AP/honors classes at a time.
