<p>My D received the invite as well. We visited BUI while on our HC tour. It was too granola and Birkenstock for my D. And that’s saying something because she’s got some hippie in her.</p>

<p>I’m not in the Blount program but I’m living in the Blount dorm so I know a lot of people in the program. The majority of people in it are a little different…they’re very dramatic, artsy, nerdy theater type of people. I have one friend in it who’s relatively normal, and he says he absolutely hates everybody in the program. It’s really a small niche of people that it appeals to. It’s also a ton of work and writing, which is something to keep in mind. I don’t know that it’s super academically challenging or anything, but the workload is definitely large.</p>
