This is something that is always difficuilt to read.

This hits very close to home for me because Beaufort was my last duty residence, and my fathers name name was almost in the obituaries (I believe in '98) for a similar incident, when is throttle jammed on full after running out of gas, fortunately he punched out and suffered minor injuries.

Please pray for all those affected by this incident.

God bless Lt. Cmdr. Kevin J. Davis.

A tragic loss for our country.

PS - One thing I learned from reading the bio's of the current Blue Angels pilots surprised me - none are graduates of the Naval Academy.

^^^^^
In the 60 year history of the Blue Angels, only 26 of the pilots have been USNA graduates.

However, the flight surgeon is a USNA grad.

What a waste. :(

Well, at least he died doing what he loved and at the top of his game. How many of us will be able to say that?
