Blue Book Okay?

It's exactly one week away from the December SATs (at least here in Asia it is) and I'm freaking out slightly because based on my Blue Book scores (below) I may not make my 2300 target.

Test 1: CR 700 M 760 W 800 (2260)
Test 2: CR 700 M 800 W 760 (2260)
Test 3: CR 720 M 760 W 800 (2280)
Test 4: CR 700 M 800 W 800 (2300)
Test 5: CR 740 M 770 W 760 (2270)

I'm confident of the math 800 on the actual day because I can't skip ahead and will be forced to spend my time double checking my work. But there's still writing and CR that I have to worry about. Do these scores look okay? (and i'm also looking for anecdotal evidence from people who have had scores like these but 2300+ scores on the actual test, just for the motivation)

yeah man, don't worry about it.
i took two tests out of that blue book the day before the test and got two low 2200s, mostly from dumb mistakes, bad vocab, and rules I had forgotten.

The next day I got a 2390 [790cr].

Hope that's what you were looking for dude haha

haha, yeah. it was the reassurance i was looking for. but how about the tests prior to those 2? did you score 2300+ or about the same?

Dude, you're fine. The only thing I think that will go wrong is if you think about it too much and stress yourself out. And honestly, if you get a 2280 instead of a 2300, it won't keep you out of any school you apply to.

i was just curious. i am getting around 2170s. Do u think i can pull off 2200 on the real test?

depends on how the 2170 is broken down. if you're close to the 800 on math but consistently losing points because of carelessness and giving yourself less time that you'd have to check on the actual test, then you can count on the 800 on the actual day. sort of ditto for writing though, close to 800 does not equal 800 in the same way that math does. as you can see above, i'm not really the authority on CR, but from a guess i'd say with time to check through, things may change.

for blue book, i always go to the next section the moment i finish my questions so checking might bring about some sort of a positive difference (except for CR, for which i've heard second guessing can be detrimental)
