Blue Book Scaled Score Ranges

are these ranges accurate? and how do you interpret them? they seem a bit lenient to me. for example for reading i got 47 correct, 20 wrong, 0 omit and it gave me 550-610, so i just gave myself a 580. and for writing i got 47 write, 7 wrong, 0 omit and 8 essay and it gave me 620-750 so i gave myself a 680. are these ranges correct? and are you supposed to take the number in the middle of the range?

I think that you shouldn’t take the middle number, just refer to ranges as an accurate measure of where you should score, best and worst cases.

they were never official tests so they don’t have a specific score.

oh okay thank you, that makes more sense

Actually, the first 3 in the Second Edition were administered, which is why they have a flat score.

I trust the score ranges.
They were pretty accurate with the real sat I took :]
