blue book tests easier?

Can it be said with certainty that the practice SAT tests in the blue book are deliberately easier than the actual thing?

the collegeboard blue book tests are considered to be on par or slightly more difficult than actual tests.

i thought hte blue book was easy. i picked up a barrons book and the questons were much harder than the BB.

first time i took the SAT in march studying out of the blue book i got a 1720

second time i just took it in may studying out of the barrons book, we'll see what i get tomorrow

math easier because I didn't do well on actual ones after practice.

I also feel that the math might be a bit on the easy side, that's my main concern.

I think that the blue book is harder than the real thing...and I've taken the real thing twice!

I feel the real math is easier then the blue book math...
Blue book has some questions that are way out there..

I'm using the blue book and I sure hope its at least equal to the real thing. How bad would that suck to go through all TEN practice tests to realize that all your efforts were in vain because you didn't learn the hard questions.

How many practice tests is recommended to go through, it seems like a lot of people go through all ten but that does seem like an awful alot of the next 11 days.

^^ there are eight practice tests in the blue book. To answer your question, keep taking practice tests until you're totally comfortable with the questions and can pretty much do the SAT in your sleep.

For me, I did all of the blue book tests, 5 PR tests, 5 Kaplan tests, and about 8 PSATs.

i worked through the whole blue book with private tutors. I was disappointed in the outcome

go pick up a barrons book

is there any differences with the type of questions for CR sections between Kaplan, PR and the blue book? for CR my son tells me that there are so many vague Questions in Kaplan and PR.

Yes, there is a difference in question type, however, I wouldn't say that this is always bad. After practicing with vague questions, the real sat questions seem much more literal and straight forward (at least, from my experience). As long as you practice with real tests as well...

I thought the blue book was pretty close to the real questions (I took the SAT in January). Although vocab review and luck helped probably more than anything else...
