Blue Book Vs. Online College Board Practice Tests

My daughter has done all 10 of the practice exams in the blue book and is now taking the online college board practice exams and she finds the online tests much harder. Isn't that strange? She is frustrated because she was doing well as she practiced from the blue book: test 1 through 10 and now her scores have dropped about 40 points per subject while practicing online. Very odd.

Which one do you think is closer to the actual SAT exam?

Maybe she ought to stop taking the online exams and retake the blue book exams for practice before she takes the October 6th SAT.

Both are the same, as they’re created from the College Board. Your daughter probably found it easier in the book because she can take more time than she wants in it?

I felt the same thing. Online tests are harder. She should definitely take the online tests and carefully review her mistakes. It will be a valuable experience for her score improvement.
