whats this Blue Book you guys keep bringing up? Is it the official CB book?

Yes, the 8 real SATs book.

is it worth doing?

Yes. Those are questions created by the same people who makes the real tests.

the blue book is by far the best sat prep book

The score range is a bit wide though. I can never figure out where I stand.

dont use the score range thing its crap.

theres this small booklet from collegeboard that has really accurate scores guide

namkim, where do you get that?

from school

So what does it say on there? Can you give me a summary?

The small booklet from collegeboard has an inaccurate table for writing. They didn't think so many people could get perfect scores on the MC. On the table they said you can miss 1 or 2 and still get 800 pending your essay score. From what I've seen, you need a perfect MC score for an 800.

That's not true... I missed 1 on the March test (with 12 essay) and got 800... and again in Nov... my MC score was a 78 and with a 12 essay I got an 800

YES. It's a must. They're the official practice tests.

the small booklet scoring guide is very accurate !
