Blue book

I'm doing the Jan SAT...and yesterday, I bought the Barron's writing book, and the Princeton's 11 tests...

i was perusing the forum, and it seems that the "blue book" is highly regarded.

So, do you think I should buy the blue book? Is it that good?? Something like an SAT bible?

(Hopefully, this is not a redundant post...)

The Blue Book is a book put out by the College Board (who writes and administers the actual test) with 8 sample full length SAT tests. Because it's published by the CB, it's considered to have the most accurate practice tests. (If you have any experience with the old SAT, the "Blue Book" is the new version of 10 Real SATs.) The book's title is The Official SAT Study Guide: For the New SAT/u. I haven't personally used the Blue Book since I only took the old SAT (I used 10RS at the time), but I would definately recommend that you get a copy to take practice tests from.

many thanks. I'm still considering..

Yes, I would definitely encourage you to buy the blue book basically because of the reasons given by tanman. I've used different prep books by different companies and after taking the actual SAT test, the questions and scores correspond most with the Blue book from the Collegeboard. BUY IT.
