<p>I use black pens when I take notes while reading the textbook and blue pens during lecture. Easy to distinguish the two.</p>

<p>I'll use whatever I can get. I pretty much lose all my pens within the first week of school anyway. Green, blue, black, whatever. Teachers aren't too fond of classwork written in red, though.</p>

<p>I use purple pens about half the time, and blue the other half. And before I lost my green pen, I used that frequently as well. I use the same spiral notebook for all my classes, so I like to use different colors of ink for every alternating class.</p>

<p>? lol i use only pens or pencils however i like pens. i like the cheap bic pens cause they are cheap, reliable, and smooth. ;)</p>
<p>I think here's the official count, after adding in my blue pens. I love colors and black, but I tend to use blue the most because I like how it looks on crisp, new white paper!</p>
