<p>if you got that in the mail i suggest you call or email admissions to see what's up. my guess is they recieved some of your application materials late and didn't have enough time to review them all yet. did u remember to send in your mid year report?</p>
<p>lol... this is random... I DO remmeber getting an email about blue ribbon, however, i emailed back inquiring what it was.... I was told I wasn't supposed to get it, that it was an accident.</p>
<p>HOWEVER, I JUST got a letter from Brandeis, saying I applied Blue Ribbon, and WAS ACCEPTED with 15,000$ Dean Scholarship!!! WAHOOO</p>

<p>What if we recently received first semester grades and can't send in mid-year reports until next next week? (No school next week, thus no counselors to mail in mid-year reports)</p>
<p>I just found out that I was accepted! (with the Justice Louis D Brandeis scholarship!)
It came today in a big blue envelope.
ahhh I'm so excited!!</p>

gpa: 100.78 weighted (sorry, I'm not sure what that is on a 4.0 scale)

<p>and tofubam- my school doesn't send in any mid-year reports for another 2 weeks, so you're probably ok.</p>
<p>being from california i had the same problem, i sent mine via fed ex. if they dont have ur official ones yet, i suggest at least sending in your unofficial one with a counselors signature on it, anything you have really. u shud probablly email ur brandeis admissions counselor tho.</p>

<p>My letter was big... and it kinda ruined the suspense of opening it, seeing as it said "Congratulations!" in huge letters across the envelope.</p>

<p>the letter was huge with Congratulations plastered across the front. But who cares!!! Don't even know where I want to go but 30k in scholarship is pretty sweet

<p>As far as I know, no Brandeis admissions officer ever went to my school.</p>

<p>i think you get the blue ribbon because of your SAT score but I am really not sure. the swim coach sent me the link for it. i think anyone is actually allowed to apply that way tho...if you can find the website.</p>
<p>Blue Ribbon apps are sent to high PSAT scorers in geographically desirable areas. </p>
<p>Nothing in the mail yet here (NC). Tuesday seems a long way away...</p>

<p>I know I got one (even though my ED app had already been in for a few days when it reached me).</p>
