<p>For discussions and labs that are currently closed, when do they usaully open so I can sign up for them?</p>

<p>There are unlisted ones that can be chosen when you sign up the for lecture.</p>

<p>do you mean it's that section is cancelled? because that is possible. either that or those sections are full. they usually don't open up later on.</p>

<p>I had a class for which we signed up for discussion during the first lecture. Well, we didn't even really sign up, he just said "go to one of these two sections". Could be that way. If it's full, though, you're outta luck.</p>

<p>Sections that are listed as closed do not open unless the other sections are filled up or close to filling up.</p>

<p>I think if its full they won't open up during phase 2, you will just need to be waitlisted. But most of the time there should be enough labs or discussions</p>
