<p>Duke is one of the best in BME. Cornell is not (in fact, Cornell pretty much ridicules anybody who gets a BME degree at the undergrad level).</p>
<p>Unless one hates Duke or isn’t particularly serious about BME, seems like a no-brainer to me.</p>
<p>I’d go with Duke if you are definitely sure on BME. You might want to look at the strengths of other departments of each school in case you change majors. and also the atmosphere of each school. Duke has an epic school spirit. Cornell has the IVY status. although I think that Duke is equivalently an IVY of its own.</p>
