senior0007, to answer one part of your question, 90% of JHU students get into medical school. jhu medical school is very selective, though the largest student delegation is from jhu undergrad (about twentyish from reading other posts). i'm not sure about the acceptance rate

The Sequel to this thread: (Though it's deviated a bit since)

I've been accepted to BME. :):)

(Though I'm not sure I'll be going to Hopkins. It's a decision between Duke, Penn, Berkeley (Regents) and Rice.)

The thing is, Rice's given me $58000 in merit scholarships, so that's an offer that's very difficult to refuse. Plus, Regents at Berkeley. If I go to JHU on the other hand, it's going to be at full freight (50K+)

Advice anyone?

rice =D...is it 58k per year? o.O wow...

No, no. Then they'd be paying me to go there. :) It's 58K over 4 years. :D Though that still makes Rice a very good deal at about 25 K.

lol...i was like never heard of rice doing that b4...only heard of usc paying students to go there lol

thanks for your answers...and tanman...i posted twice because i figured different people would look on different threads and thanks for your answer on the other thread :)
