BME program at UTD?

<p>Anyone have any insight into the quality of the Biomedical Engineering Program at UTD?
I know it isn't highly ranked but I don't know how much to believe the rankings anyway.
Anyone planning to start that program in '13?</p>

<p>The other schools my son applied to (Rice, A&M, UT Austin, CWRU, Georgia Tech) have older, larger, higher ranked BME programs, but will be hard to match UTD from a financial standpoint
as he received the top AES scholarship (full tuition plus $3K). Not that an 18 year old thinks about finances. :)</p>

<p>BME at UTD is really new. Less than 2 years old, I believe. You probably wont be able to find a ton of info about it. As with all new things, it will take some time to establish itself</p>
