i got the same email at 11 last night! i have no idea why i got this and its extremely confusing. i wonder why these are being sent out now?? im also a moorpark & ventura student

also Ive always qualified for this, and havent been on academic probation since spring 2014. i have been on the dean’s list on every semester since then.

I also got the email at 11pm and then again at 2am the situation seems very sketchy, I logged into myvcccd and I don’t have a balance I also have never been on academic probation nor do I newly qualify for it. I attend moorpark college as well

My boyfriend first got this email around 10:30 last night and we both were freaking out over it. Then my dad, who is NOT enrolled this semester, received the exact same email at 10:45. I got the same email at 11:20pm, and then additional one at 2am (I’m assuming since I’m enrolled in both VC and OC.) I think this is just some stupid hoax. It’s spring break, and it’s the middle of the semester. Why would they send this out now, and at weird hours at night?

I hope we get an email from the school before the 7 days. Because there’s no way I want to get kicked out of all my classes over something I have no idea is happening. I’m still freaking out and hoping to hear something from the school by Monday if not I’m most likely gonna go to the financial aid office on Monday and see what’s going on at moorpark

Got the same email last night at 9:44. Started freaking out and was googling about the BOGW and nothing would come up. My accounts are up to date and I have never been on probation for any reason. I really hope they were just hacked. It’s perfect timing for the “hackers” to get us all upset since we can’t get any info until Monday when classes resume from spring break. What a way to ruin our weekend! [-(

Oh gosh, I’m so happy that I found this group talking about this. I’ve been super concerned all morning and trying to comb through all my classes to see what I could have done wrong but I got 100% on the recent stuff I’ve turned in and haven’t received under an A or MAYBE a B on anything so far this semester! I’m just chiming in to follow up with this and see if anyone knows anything more. I got my email at like 9:33PM last night but just woke up and checked my mail this morning. I hope it is a mistake… I don’t believe anyone is there during spring break sending out BOGFW revoked notices in the evening on like… Good Friday at that… super sketchy! >:P

I got the email twice and haven’t received any “sorry for the inconvenience” email yet. I’m hoping everyone’s right in thinking it’s nothing. So stressful :((

@ALittleTownCalledItri Yeah right, and that email will read “Sorry for causing all the emotional distress, we’ve decided to extend spring break just for all the financial aid students.” Basically, don’t expect an apology, lol. Financial aid has no remorse. But they’ll probably send out another email telling us to stop calling (in all caps).

I didn’t get an email either. Others have said to call Financial Aid first thing Monday morning, Im pretty sure it was just a mistake so try not to stress!
