Boarding school applicant.

Hi,

So I'm a really good student no need to get into all of that. I have an impressive nonprofit, I have a lot of ec's and I look really good on paper. I have amazing recommendations from teachers and notable alumni. I recently got my SSAT score and received a 94th percentile in every category, but a 32 in math. Overall I got a 2160. Is this good? I'm really mad about this but I was just wondering what my chances were to get into:

Andover

Deerfield

Cate

Hill

Kent

Middlesex

Basically I want to know If my chances are ruined. Be blunt.

ok no responses…

This is primarily a college website which is why you don’t have any responses. I know a little about boarding schools because I got obsessed a few years ago. From your list, I know that Andover and Deerfield are super selective. So those are reaches. I would say that Cate is more of a match if not a fall back. Also consider Thatcher, it’s another California one. Maybe add Hotchkiss to your list too, I think its pretty prestigious. If you are willing to go to a girls school (if you are even a girl), I’ve heard good things about Miss Porter’s in Connecticut. Your scores and stuff sound good but it really doesn’t mean much to me- I don’t have anything to compare it to.

Best of luck.
