Certainly some interesting stuff in here. The website wherein you teach programming is something that, depending on its depth and breadth, could help you stand out. I might work to open that up as broadly as possible. What is its mission? Maybe for example it’s to teach underprivileged kids how to code? If you get traction with that sort of thing it may help you stand out somewhat. (And if it’s a rousing success, as in thousands of kids spend tens of thousands of hours on the coursework, then that’s a home run).
@DroidsLookingFor the work is in progress. I have created the website, now just I am gonna record the tutorials of different programming languages and post them on my website/app, then upload that on google and google play store (in .apk format). I love teaching, it is my passion. I am gonna teach the coding for free to all sort of students/learners. The mission/idea behind this is that all the people whether underprivileged or belonging to a poor community can access it and learn coding for free with video lectures, quizzes and notes. Also, if my website/app attracts a good amount of traffic, I’m also gonna start the live classes. Also, I’m a certified web developer and Robotics developer. (I don’t think so it would matter much as compared to the one who have cracked the olympiads or other competitions. One last thing, it was so good to hear this from you @DroidsLookingFor
Good luck with your journey. Keep us posted.
sure!
Hey guys, it’s me again. Thank you for you support so far. I have finalized my list of school for admissions in fall of 2022. The schools are the one which I found to be a great fit for me. Here is the list-
- Phillips exeter academy
- Phillips academy andover
- Groton school
- Deerfield academy
- St. Paul’s School
- Middlesex school
- Hotchkiss school
- Choate rosemary hall
- Lawrenceville school
- Loomis chaffee school
- Milton academy
- The Taft school
Ugh. I am sorry, but that is my reaction to your list. It’s just all of the most difficult to get into schools. Zero schools where admission is more likely. You are setting yourself up for big disappointment.
Applying to 10 schools at 10% acceptance rate each doesn’t mean 100% chance getting into one. I think that’s what others are trying to say.
If you have a good backup plan, and just want to try your luck, this works. You likely will get application fee waived so it’s a free shot for you.
If you really want to go to a bs, you need to listen to the others.
But I didn’t found such less selective schools that offer full FA to int.l students.
Review the excellent point made earlier:
Can you tell me the names of the schools?
Your list is very top heavy. I would listen to the other suggestions. If a school is not interested in admitting you, the FA amount is completely irrelevant.
I’m not completely sure if they offer FA, but if so look into UWC for your Junior and Senior years.
What about this?
Phillips exeter academy
Phillips academy andover
Groton school
St. Paul’s School
Lawrenceville
Middlesex school
Loomis chaffe school
Mercersburg school
Kent school
Northfield mount hermon
I think it’s still very top heavy. Mercersburg is a great addition, and I’m glad it made the list.
I would still keep the other schools if you like them, just add more not so selective ones.
Maybe he needs suggestions? Does anyone know any safety schools or “higher admit schools”. I do not know a lot of them but try the Master’s school, the Cranbook school. Also not exactly sure if these are higher admit I may be wrong.
Tank you @Oyin101 I will take a look on those schools. Also, I am he😅
My bad!!

Episcopal high school
Westminster school
This looks less like a “best fit” school list, and more like a prestige or Niche ranking list.
There are some schools on this list that give very little financial aid to international students from “overrepresented” countries unless there is an extremely compelling reason, and there are Hidden Gems not shown here that can and do give aid to very compelling international student applicants.
The SAO application allows one to apply to a large number of schools with essentially one application, unlike schools using Gateway that have time-intensive customized applications and essay questions. Most boarding schools use SAO, apart from several of those listed above such as PEA, PA, Groton, DA, SPS, Hotchkiss, CRH, L’ville (I may be a little off on this).
Thus you can apply to 10-15 Hidden Gems (in addition to some of the “Gateways” listed above) with virtually one application, but of course you will interview at each one.
Many Hidden Gem schools would welcome your informal inquiry over the summer, and some will be surprisingly upfront about whether it is at all feasible for you to potentially receive financial aid, especially since you seem to be a strong and motivated applicant.

Can anyone tell me that which school among them(above) don’t offer much FA to international students?
