<p>I have been looking at boarding schools, but I really can't find one that suits me! Please give me some suggestions! I want to go to a non-denominational school with a nice campus and of course good academics. So far, I've found Hotchkiss and Deerfield at the top of my list, but I have heard that it is REALLY competitive and by 11/12 grade, you don't sleep earlier than 2 am. Is that true? Also, are the kids at boarding schools really cliquey? There are stereotypes that the kids are really rich and don't hang out with you if you aren't rich? I doubt it is true, but I'd just like to make sure! THANK YOU!</p>
<p>Hotckiss & DA are VERY hard to get into for ANY grade (not just 11th), and even harder to get into if you need FA or are an over-represented demographic group (i.e. race, state, country).</p>
<p>This year’s admissions decisions have been released only 4 days ago. I suggest you read thru the threads on this board and gauge for yourself if the 2 schools you mention are feasible for u.</p>
