I have been looking at boarding schools, but I really can't find one that suits me! Please give me some suggestions! I want to go to a non-denominational school with a nice campus and of course good academics. So far, I've found Hotchkiss and Deerfield at the top of my list, but I have heard that it is REALLY competitive and by 11/12 grade, you don't sleep earlier than 2 am. Is that true? Also, are the kids at boarding schools really cliquey? There are stereotypes that the kids are really rich and don't hang out with you if you aren't rich? I doubt it is true, but I'd just like to make sure! THANK YOU!

you should post this in Boarding School forum.

Cranbrook in Michigan? I have a friend who goes there and raves about it but I have never seen the campus. It sounds cool though. I think you’re in the wrong forum BTW.

Oh crap! How do I change it to the Boarding School forum?

No, kids actually sleep. There are so many good schools and the top are very competitive. Look at Lawrenceville, Governors, Andover, Taft, Thatcher, Blair.

Thank You!
