Is Bobcat day at UC Merced the same as orientation?
Bobcat Day is UC Merced’s preview day where the school showcases all of their clubs, organizations, and programs that they offer on campus and is open to all prospective students. Orientation is only for students who have already committed to UC Merced and it where they attend some workshops, meet some of their fellow classmates, and register for classes. It takes place from July to August before the academic year starts.
